By using our website, submitting a booking, or checking the consent box on our appointment form, you agree to the terms below.
1. Appointments & Bookings
Appointment requests submitted online are not confirmed until our team contacts you to verify your preferred date and time. We reserve the right to suggest alternative slots based on availability.
2. Consent to Treatment
No treatment will be carried out without your informed consent. Before any procedure, you will be given clear information about the treatment, its benefits, risks, and alternatives, and asked to confirm your agreement, in line with General Medical Council and CQC guidance on informed consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, including after a consent form has been signed.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee, at our discretion.
4. Treatment Suitability
All treatments are subject to a clinical consultation to confirm suitability. We reserve the right to decline treatment if it is not considered clinically appropriate.
5. Payments
Payment is due at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash and major card payments. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, though confirmed bookings will honour the price quoted at the time of booking.
6. Results & Expectations
While we use evidence-based techniques and experienced practitioners, individual results vary. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, and realistic expectations will be discussed during your consultation.
7. Communications
By booking an appointment, you agree that we may contact you via the methods you select (email, SMS, WhatsApp, or recorded phone call) to confirm and remind you of appointments, in accordance with PECR and our Privacy Policy.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care, please contact us directly so we can address your concerns. You may also contact the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England, at cqc.org.uk or by calling 03000 616161.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Birmingham Skin and Physio Clinic is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services, beyond what is required by applicable healthcare regulations.
